The Verdict Kids - Trip to Encounter Zone

It’s summer holiday time and there’s plenty to keep the kids busy in the UAE, but what do children really think about family days out? We’ve been putting some well-known attractions to the test…

This week, Aishwarya (12) and Pratibha (9) visit Encounter Zone, Wafi, which has everything from a skate park to a soft play area and a climbing wall.

What did mum and dad think?

We were happy that the kids had a good time. We were glad to know there were activities for the elders as well. It is a good way to spend the evening out as a family. The horror tomb at the Encounter Zone was a new experience and the wall climbing was thrilling - we managed to climb to the top of the wall.

Was it value for money?

Definitely, it’s a good venue for fun and entertainment for the whole family - adults and kids. There is a great range of activities, from electronic games to roller skates and wall climbing, a simulated roller coaster etc.

Now for the opinion that really matters, the kids:

What was the best part?

Aishwarya: The best part was the wall climbing, I was really excited when I reached the top and it was cool to watch the adults do the wall climbing.

Pratibha: The best part for me was the wall climbing as well. I had great fun doing this. I liked the part where we jump down to the ground from the top of the wall.

Was there anything you didn’t enjoy?

Aishwarya: No the whole thing was a thrilling experience for me.

Pratibha: I enjoyed all the games.

Would you recommend it to other kids?

Aishwarya: Yes, of course.

Pratibha: Sure. So that my friends will have the same fun as me!
