Toyota recalls Camrys and Aurions in the UAE
Thousands of Toyota Camrys and Aurions are being recalled in the UAE due to a potential problem with the fuel hose.
Simon Frith, Managing Director of distributor Al Futtaim Motors, said in a statement on Thursday that the issue affected some 2012-year vehicles.
He said: “Following communication with Toyota Motor Corporation, we have begun a customer service campaign on 7,928 units 2012-year model Camry vehicles, and 319 units of 2012-year model Aurion vehicles.

There may be a problem with some 2012 Toyota Camrys, says Al Futtaim Motors
"Toyota Motor Corporation has informed us that there is a possibility that the fuel hose that connects the main fuel supply line to the engine may have become wrinkled during connector insertion, and in rare cases could result in abnormal wear of the fuel hose."
He added: "We will commence a service campaign from Sunday, August 12 and contact our customers directly for an appointment at our service centres.
"All vehicles will require a 45-minute inspection, however Toyota Motor Corporation has advised that only a small number of vehicles will require any components to be replaced."
