Missing sailor’s uncle to visit Dubai
The uncle of missing British serviceman Timmy MacColl will make a personal plea for information this weekend in the Dubai street the sailor vanished from two weeks ago.
The 27-year-old Leading Seaman has not been seen since he got into a taxi outside Rock Bottom in Bur Dubai at 2am on Sunday, May 27.
This Sunday, Timmy’s uncle, Neil Cunningham, a UK police officer, will be outside Rock Bottom in the hope somebody might remember his nephew and help solve the riddle of his disappearance.

Last night Cunningham, who has been keeping in regular touch with Dubai Police, told 7DAYS: “My flight is booked. I will be there, in the street, on the two-week anniversary. What we need is to saturate Dubai with images of Timmy.”
7DAYS has printed posters, in English and Arabic, in the centre of today’s paper.
“If people could put these up in their windows or on their notice boards at work this will really help,”
Cunningham added. “If anybody has any information from the night he disappeared, even if they think it’s not significant, they should ring Dubai Police numbers on the posters, or email 7DAYS.”
It was also revealed yesterday that Timmy was inside Rock Bottom despite speculation he had been refused entry because he had been drinking.
