Manchester City’s success down to it’s owner says Sheikh Ahmed
Manchester City’s success is down to it’s owner’s “dedication, wisdom and sound planning”, a senior UAE figure has said.
National news agency WAM reported the comments of HH Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation, as he congratulated HH Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs, on the clinching the English Premier League title.
It was the first time Manchester City had won England’s top tier in 44 years. Sheikh Mansour bought the club in 2008.
