Lighten the heavy load kids have to deal with

I’d like to request that schoolchildren should not be made to carry such heavy bags to school that cause them to come back home in the evenings complaining of severe backache.

The schools should find a way where just the books for the subjects of the day are carried to school. This is to request schools to take immediate action.
