Bentley to show off super-SUV
A new Bentley is to make its debut at the world-famous Goodwood Festival of Speed this month – with the firm claiming to have built “the most luxurious SUV in the world”
The EXP 9 F SUV concept will appear both as part of the Supercar Run up the iconic Goodwood Hill at Goodwod in the United Kingdon and on the Bentley Motors stand.
The festival runs from June 29 to July 1.
Bentley says the EXP 9 F highlights its aim to build “the fastest and most luxurious SUV in the world”.
“The concept car combines a stunning interior at the pinnacle of craftsmanship and technology with a clean, muscular exterior,” the firm said. “With an exciting range of drivetrain options under consideration, any Bentley SUV would offer the thunderous performance for which the marque is renowned.”
Meanwhile, the new Continental GT V8 will appears both on the Bentley stand and on the Goodwood Hill. It features an all-new 4.0l twin-turbo V8 engine and can hit 100kph in 4.8 seconds.
And driving duties for the Bentley models will be shared by three modern-day Bentley Boys. Le Mans legend Derek Bell will be joined by four-time world rally champion Juha Kankkunen together with Guy Smith, who drove the winning Speed 8 across the finish line at Le Mans in 2003.
