Baby boy 'killed' by his mum
A mother allegedly killed her baby with her underwear and hid the body in a closet.
Prosecutors told Abu Dhabi Criminal Court yesterday that after the Filipina gave birth she tied her briefs around the boy’s neck and killed him. The Filipina has denied killing the child. She said: “I didn’t kill him. He passed out after I gave birth.”
Chief Justice Sayed Abdul Baseer, head of the criminal court, told the court a forensic report showed the child had been strangled. The mother argued that she merely used her underwear to clean off blood from the boy’s neck. The judge said the clothing was found in a tight knot.

He added: “We all know if you want to tie underwear tightly, it needs precision. It’s not a like a rope.”
When the judge asked the woman whether the baby was born dead or alive, she said: “I don’t know.”
Prosecutors said the baby’s body was found in a plastic bag in a closet. The Filipina said: “I wanted to take my child with me to Philippines. I wanted to show him to his father.” She denied having an illicit affair, claiming her husband had got her pregnant during a trip home to the Philippines last year.
The case was adjourned.

“This is really a sad news for every human. We should to think seriously about the reasons behind the matter that criminal cases increased day by day in UAE. The UAE government should to take notice of it. I think the government has provided not all the necessities but luxuries to the people. But haven't provided any thing for the better training like Dars e Quran/Hadees. People come to UAE & get money but gain nothing morally. UAE being an Islamic & Arab country but doing nothing for character building or moral improvement.”

“if you have any illicit affair then you know how to handle it carefully, ur aware what is right to do & not. but if your having a child from ur illicit affair then you dont have to killed your child becoz u know already at first the circumstances... so not acceptable of what you did.. You committed already a sin of "Adultery" of having an illicit affair then you killed your son so that is another sin "Killing".. anyway, you are the only one accountable to for what you did.”
